I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, but my strengths lie in concepting stuff. Characters, environments, stories and everything in between! This is a collection of some of those, including some of my original creations who don't have a full story to their name. I'll explain what I can as we go through, so I hope you enjoy the ride!
Environmental Thumbnails
A small project done for my first year of Visual Storytelling. We were instructed to create 10 thumbnails for interesting environments, So I took my inspirations from a reverse rainbow of colors, weaving connotations and personal associations together to make something I'm still very proud of to this day! Dr. Zinnia Rosette
Intelligent, Excitable, and endlessly curious, Dr. Zinnia Rosette is a Xenobiologist from the planet Saturnalia. One of the first of her species to ever venture out into space, she delights in her occupation of chronicling the flora and fauna of other planets. She also does work with Biochemistry, looking into the species she researches to find compounds that could improve the lives of others around her. Her journey is complicated by both the dangers of the universe, and the spectres from her past hot on her tail, but her enthusiasm for her craft and her willingness to stick a (boneless) limb out for others always allows her to make a safe landing.
